so, now www.jellyandkake.com works. sweet. you probably get that jellyandkake is just our names with the first letters switched (if you didn't get it, don't feel bad. i could share many instances of me not getting stuff to make you feel really smart.) our "celebrity nickname" if you will, though i couldn't decide whether jelly or kake was more fun. turns out, they're the most fun together. so jelly and kake it is (it beat out jellyandcake by a margin of 3 to 1.)
so, i have tons of projects i'm working on around here, and more on deck. it'll be a while before i get them up here, but not 6 months, like the time i waited between posts recently. hey, blogs are WORK, and i tend to prefer NOT working.
back to my project (#3 of the summer). when it's complete, i promise to post pictures, in all its glory.

Isn't the shabbyblogs.com great? So easy to use. And I look forward to pictures of project #3. I need to take pictures of Deacon's room to post. Also, I'm so bad at updating anything on goodreads. I need to try and be better about that.
So question... how did you get all your old posts over here on your new site?? I want to change the name of our blog, but I'm afraid of losing all my posts so I don't do it.... =(
I got you in on the private switcheroo!
danielle, if you buy/register a URL, it's just a matter of setting up with your account (mine is with godaddy) to direct to the blog, and entering the new URL into the settings/publishing part of blogger. not too difficult, though i had the added bother of transporting from wordpress back to blogger. (i found that wordpress had more features than blogger, but to the point the it was overwhelming...) if you want more details, you can e-mail me, but godaddy had some directions specifically for blogger. anyhoo, i like having a straight up website name, instead of the whole .blogspot business!
